Backgrounds
With this first one I wanted to play with a simple style and experiment with new custom brushes.
First the quick sketches
The Final Version
With this next one, I was going for a dynamic background.

Expressions Character 2 The Dancer
My character is a dancer. When I started drawing I wanted her to use magic of some kind, but that really wasn't a conventional job, so I lighted her mood and made her a dancer.
Last week we did three different styles. I wanted to expand on that Idea. With this picture I was going for a Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack look. Not for the sake of being simple, but I wanted to experiment with no outline.

Expressions Character 1
I wanted to have a Punch Out feel for this character. Although, I didn't start off with the idea, it just gradually feel into place.

Characters and Backgrounds
For my first character I wanted to draw a monster, so that's what I did.
His design was originally base of the movie Gremlins but with a more ape like quality and a touch of Blanka. Eventually I decided to give him a a tail and dog like hine legs.
For my second I decided to redo one of my own characters closer to the style of the Disney Princess Jasmine.
I definitely wanted to improve my line quality for this project. I also dove more into the structure of my character.
For my last character I wanted it do a frog... just because.I like action poses so I gave him one. Initially I wanted to give him a a Craig Mccracken style, but It felt too simplistic and my drawing went in the directions of TMNT or Battle Toads.
